Soon to be The 4 G's.....

So...there we go....we found out a few weeks early. My good friend was nice enough to do an ultrasound for us. I myself, could have waited a bit longer, but Andy has been dying to find out. Haa haa for him, another GIRL!!! No, I was excited to find out today too, I just like giving Andy a hard time. We will have our regular "dr. appt. ultrasound" in February, and we will act surprised again! It's fun!

Oh "deer", look at that!!!

Look what we found by our house. I saw it one morning in our backyard. By the time i could get to the camera, it was in the front of our house. Pretty cool! It was trying to get back over the fence, but couldn't so it took off down the street.

It's the most wonderful time of the year..............

To sum it all up....
*Brooklyn looks cute even with wild morning hair!
*She had fun opening her presents
*She wanted to open everyone's presents, not really caring what was in them
*She got lots of toys and clothes(yeah for clothes)
*Got together with our families and exchanged gifts
*Went home and Brooklyn showed Grandma and Grandpa Gerritsen her toys
*Rested, then made dinner
*Had a huge dinner at our house, (which i ate....yippee finally a big meal i could eat)!!!
*We eventually got a smile for pictures from Brooklyn
*Had a wonderful Christmas!!!!! Thanks everyone! Love you all.

Brooklyn doesn't seem to like to wear dresses these days. After lots of persuassion from mommy, daddy, and Heidi....she started staring at herself in the mirror and saying.....BEAUTIFUL DRESS......BEAUTIFUL DRESS....and spinning around. She is our little princess...and i think she KNOWS it.....Oh well! We love her!!

Here we are....another year at trying to attempt our Christmas candy. It was mostly a success, but consumed most of the day. We didn't make all that we had planned, but was fun. The Buckley's joined us this year and the kids had a blast in the flour. We always look forward to this time of year!

So we did get the snow...mostly melted now, but we got it! Hopefully we can get some more this weekend. Andy had fun shoveling it.




We also had some fun taking pictures in the snow. Hurried though.....just a wee bit chilly!

Christmas is in the air.....

Well....it's cold, but no snow. It's hard to believe that we just had Thanksgiving and 29 days until Christmas. We have been getting out Christmas stuff at our house the last few days. I love this time of year, especially when we can be with our families. We love you all!!!

Our spooky Halloween....

We had a fun halloween this year. Brooklyn is at this fun age so it was fun to watch her and dress her up. She didn't like her costume all that much, but i must say she looked cute!!!! We actually had a surprise birthday party for Shelby on Oct 27, but made it our Halloween party so she wouldn't know it was for her. It turned out to be so fun. We had the kids play some games and they all wore their costumes. On Halloween we went to our ward's trunk or treat. Brooklyn loved getting all the candy, she thought that was the coolest thing ever. We decked out our yard this year (thanks to all of Lori's stuff) and had a few trick-or-treaters come later in the evening.....Then Lori and Andy made me watch the Halloween movies....i am a wimp!!! I have my hands to my face and they are sitting there watching it like it is a comedy! It was fun though! Here are some pictures of our fun Halloween. Now time for Thanksgiving!!!! We love this time of year!
