Our baby turned "2".....

The candles blew themselves out this year.....so we pretended!

We threw Addison a Hello Kitty-flower-polka dot party this year. Did I take pictures of all of the decorations...of course not--but it turned out so cute!!! We had a busy day since we were celebrating the "4th" and her birthday, but it was SO fun! I love to throw parties, so we wanted to make it super fun since we were celebrating the two events. We had A BBQ with both sides of our family, had a pinata for the kids- which Addison was afraid of ..maybe she was just sad the other kids were hitting Hello Kitty, who knows! The Shewell's stayed and watched fireworks with us later that night! I hope Addie had a great day...she sure was tuckered out by the end of it! Thanks to all of our family who came and a bigger thanks to everyone for helping out!!

4th of July 2010

We had a long and super fun weekend!!! We had our traditional breakfast at my Dad's on Saturday which was also Addison's birthday. After that we came home to get ready for Addison's party! It was fun to have the family all together! Later that night we watched the Magna fireworks from our house and did some of our own!

This is Halloween!

What a fun Halloween we had this year. Friday we took the girls to see their great-grand parents to show off their costumes. It is a fun tradtion that all of us do, and the kids all have a great time. The fav this year was the leaves! They had so much fun, and even Grandma G, Jer, and Andy joined in on the fun! Then we raked them all up, and Becky and Kiley took some home! Becky and Kiley also made my girls cute Halloween shirts that they wore when they weren't wearing their costumes! Later that evening we went to our wards "Trunk or Treat". Brooklyn had more fun handing out the candy, than getting the candy. We then came home and spent the evening visiting with Lo and Heidi and had some scrumpcious dinner courtesy of Fazoli's! YUM!

The Monster Bash!!!

We had alot of fun at our Evans Halloween party. We had dinner and then planned a few games for the kids. Everyone brought a little treat for them, so it looks like they don't need to go trick or treating anymore! :) It was fun to see all their costumes, and kudos to princess Snow White for making all the kids so excited! It was a spooky spectacular!

Celebrate good times...

This last weekend we had my family over to our house for yet another holiday, Father's Day! We took advantage of us all being together and also celebrated Cindy's birthday, and they threw me a SURPRISE baby shower! It was quite a surprise! Thank you to my family!
We also had the Buckley kids sleep over and they had fun playing in Brooklyn's little pool, and eventually started a water fight! They had a great time, and I was surprised by how much fun Brooklyn had getting water dumped on her too.

Happy Easter everyone! Here are some pictures from our easter Sunday. Brooklyn found her basket from the Easter Bunny, and then we got ready for church. She likes to tease us and run around the house when we are trying to take pictures. So we ended up in her room. After church we went to the Gerritsen's for dinner. It was delicious!! We tried getting some pictures of all the kids, but is getting harder to do that! They are still so cute though! Hope everyone had a great day, I know we did!

Easter Party!!!

Saturday we had my family over to our house for our traditional Easter Egg Hunt and dinner. We hid the eggs in our front yard and our neighbor's let us use their's while they were out of town, so there was a bigger area for them to find eggs. The kids got a bit spoiled this year, lots of candy, toys, did I say CANDY! It was fun though! My dad was so excited to be wearing that fabulous easter hat!!! He was our official easter bunny! Then we had our dinner and a cake for Heidi's birthday (which was the 18th-Happy Birthday)! Then later that evening after family left we colored our easter eggs. Andy did most of the coloring, By then Brooklyn was tired.....and so was I! What a FUN day!

*Got together with our families and exchanged gifts
*Went home and Brooklyn showed Grandma and Grandpa Gerritsen her toys
*Rested, then made dinner
*Had a huge dinner at our house, (which i ate....yippee finally a big meal i could eat)!!!
*We eventually got a smile for pictures from Brooklyn

Christmas is in the air.....

Well....it's cold, but no snow. It's hard to believe that we just had Thanksgiving and 29 days until Christmas. We have been getting out Christmas stuff at our house the last few days. I love this time of year, especially when we can be with our families. We love you all!!!

Our spooky Halloween....

We had a fun halloween this year. Brooklyn is at this fun age so it was fun to watch her and dress her up. She didn't like her costume all that much, but i must say she looked cute!!!! We actually had a surprise birthday party for Shelby on Oct 27, but made it our Halloween party so she wouldn't know it was for her. It turned out to be so fun. We had the kids play some games and they all wore their costumes. On Halloween we went to our ward's trunk or treat. Brooklyn loved getting all the candy, she thought that was the coolest thing ever. We decked out our yard this year (thanks to all of Lori's stuff) and had a few trick-or-treaters come later in the evening.....Then Lori and Andy made me watch the Halloween movies....i am a wimp!!! I have my hands to my face and they are sitting there watching it like it is a comedy! It was fun though! Here are some pictures of our fun Halloween. Now time for Thanksgiving!!!! We love this time of year!

Happy 4th!!!

Just thought i would add some photos from our 4th. Me, Andy & Brooklyn all had our matching shirts on as tradition. The day was definately a hot one....we started out with breakfast at my dad's (which was sooooo good)....beats IHOP. Then we decided to beat the heat and went to a movie. We saw Ratatouille....cute....for what i saw of it. I decided to take Brooklyn and she wasn't enjoying it too much. Andy actually went golfing while i went to the movie....so my sisters took turns and we all had our turn out in the hall. It was fun though. Andy had a good time golfing....won't say his score...but he behaved...which is great!!!!! I am not fishing any more clubs out of the pond. (j/k Andy).......
We had a great view of the Magna fireworks from our house. All in all...a nice day!
