Christmas is in the air.....

Well....it's cold, but no snow. It's hard to believe that we just had Thanksgiving and 29 days until Christmas. We have been getting out Christmas stuff at our house the last few days. I love this time of year, especially when we can be with our families. We love you all!!!

Our spooky Halloween....

We had a fun halloween this year. Brooklyn is at this fun age so it was fun to watch her and dress her up. She didn't like her costume all that much, but i must say she looked cute!!!! We actually had a surprise birthday party for Shelby on Oct 27, but made it our Halloween party so she wouldn't know it was for her. It turned out to be so fun. We had the kids play some games and they all wore their costumes. On Halloween we went to our ward's trunk or treat. Brooklyn loved getting all the candy, she thought that was the coolest thing ever. We decked out our yard this year (thanks to all of Lori's stuff) and had a few trick-or-treaters come later in the evening.....Then Lori and Andy made me watch the Halloween movies....i am a wimp!!! I have my hands to my face and they are sitting there watching it like it is a comedy! It was fun though! Here are some pictures of our fun Halloween. Now time for Thanksgiving!!!! We love this time of year!

The Great Pumpkin....

Charlie Brown: I supposed you spent all night in the pumpkin patch. And did the Great Pumpkin ever show up?
Linus: Nope.
Charlie Brown: Well, don't take it too hard, Linus. I've done a lot of stupid things in my life, too.
Linus: [furious] STUPID! What do you mean "stupid"? Just wait 'til next year, Charlie Brown. You'll see! Next year at this same time, I'll find the perfect pumpkin patch and I'll sit in that pumpkin patch until the Great Pumpkin appears. He'll rise out of that pumpkin patch and he'll fly through the air with his bag of toys. The Great Pumpkin will appear and I'll be waiting for him! I'll be there! I'll be sitting there in that pumpkin patch and I'll see the Great Pumpkin. Just wait and see, Charlie Brown. I'll see the Great Pumpkin. I'll SEE the Great Pumpkin! Just you wait, Charlie Brown, the Great Pumpkin will appear and I'll be waiting for him...

I just wanted to add that movie in....so cute.
We went to a pumpkin patch this last weekend. It was so much fun to pick pumpkins and watch the kids run around. They had pumpkins as far as you could see, which made it fun to find the perfect ones. Andy (of course) found the "odd" pumpkin out of the bunch. Brooklyn loved pushing the wheelbarrow....didn't care to much about picking a pumpkin, just wanted to push them. This will be a great tradition to do every year.
We also attempted Gardner Village....took a few pictures then left. It was the Harvest Festival (which we did not know) and was super busy! I bought some hay and cornstalks and decorated outside the house, cute place to take pictures with all the pumpkins around. I love this time of year!!!

These are some of my favorite pictures that we have taken with our new camera. We are loving all the things we can do with it and are learning alot! The header picture of the flowers was taken from my flower pot out in the front yard!!! It helps to have such cute kids to take pictures of!!!

Fun at the Fair!!!

This was so much fun to take Brooklyn and Parker to the fair. They got to go into this little farm and collect different things and put in them in the basket then at the end they got 1$ to buy something at the store. They had a great time!!

Shoo fly don't bother me!!!

Ok. So here is the story for this video. She wanted the fly-swatter earlier today so she could get the fly that was in the room. I gave it to her and she started swatting at the window. She said "got it" and left the room. (she really hadn't gotten the fly yet) A few minutes went by and she came in the room with the Windex. Usually we clean the area after getting a fly with a Clorox wipe, but she grabbed the Windex. I asked her if she wanted to clean up the fly and she said "yes". So i got her a baby wipe and that is where the video starts. She is growing up so fast and is learning so many things. Lately she has been very good about mimmicking things we say and do. I love it!!!!!

Since i missed the concert.....

Here I go again.....

First of all, I am working on my blog this late so i can start working on Friday's hours at midnight. I am nuts..I know, but it makes it nice sometimes. So...I thought this would occupy me for a little bit. We have had a busy busy week. We have done alot of work on the basement. On my last post it was sheetrock.....now look what we have done. We are getting our cabinets in soon and will finish up the tile and baseboard and some other things this weekend. Pretty productive i would say.

Brooklyn has had fun in all this working too....She also had a tiny trauma.....for more me than her, i think. (tooth through lip) OUCH! But the next day she was fine....it wasn't horrible. Ok..a few more pictures...just because i think they are adorable....and i am wasting time.....

She loves to "march" and we never taught her to put her hands behind her, she learned that herself. It is so cute. Although she does see mom do it which makes it even funnier.
My background on my blog isn't working...so I will fix that another time.....i guess i will do some work now.

Working on the basement...

I just felt so inclined to show some pictures of how the basement is coming along. It's been alot of hard work. We are excited to have Heidi & Lo come live with us. Bevin and Jeremey have worked really hard on it for us and we are excited to see all the changes every week. Also we finished our rockwall outside and extra parking area...it turned out good i think!! Andy, Merrill & our neighbor Cavet did all that work! Great job!
