Catch up on pictures.......

It's been awhile since I have put pictures on my computer from my camera, so I thought I would blog about some things that have happened the last few weeks.

My nephew Seth had a baseball game which Andy and Brooklyn went to. I didn't go, but it looks like he did a great job! I love the ones with his tongue sticking out. Oh, it was funny too, that same day Brooklyn and Andy matched....it was cute!

The last two weekends we have laid more sod in the backyard. Nothing too big, but enough for Brookie to play until we do it next year. While we were laying the sod, Brookie had the SMARTEST idea and got into her pool with her clothes on. It was a hot day! The next day she wanted to go and step on the grass with her feeties. She said to us....."I sure do like this grass"! That makes the hard work worth it!

Addison is starting to smile. It is so adorable. Of course we don't have the camera when she is doing the big grins, but we will be sure to post some when we get them. Here is what we have so far! There is also a picture of her in a hat that Grandma Becky made for her.

One more thing....we are trying to potty train Brooklyn. This is what I have been able to do so far. As long as she has a movie, snack, drink, and books she will sit on the potty. She actually has gone a few times, but still not quite there. Any suggestions?!? She seems to be ready, but still needs a little help.

Happy 6 years!!

Andy and I just celebrated our anniversary last Friday. A whopping 6 years. Boy time flies! Oh, and...we went on a date! I know, i know....finally! I wanted to go see The Dark Knight, and Andy graciously went along. He didn't really want to see it, but in the end....he loved it as much as I did. We had a great time. Happy Anniversary Ang!! Love ya! (sorry for the picture babe, I had to use it.)! :)

Sing....sing a song

Brooklyn has recently discovered that the tune to the ABC's and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star is the same! She loves to sing both of those songs, and the other day she was playing with her ABC game that plays the song. Instead of singing along with the ABC's, she began to sing Twinkle, Twinkle......HELLO! Smartie pants! :) I am just amazed by her everyday! She is growing to be such a smart girl! She says the funniest things too. (see Brooklyn's thoughts listed on the blog)

I am sure she will teach her sister alot too! I love my Brookie! (not to leave out my Addie....love her too)! :)

Abigail's blessing day

This is a picture Andy took of our niece Abigail on her blessing day. She was blessed last Sunday, Aug. 3 (on her Mom's birthday too)! Happy Birthday Kiley :) Kiley and Grandma Becky made her dress. It is gorgeous!

It takes two baby....It takes two

We got these taken yesterday. We had not planned on doing pictures yet, but were up by Kiddie Kandids in Jordan Landing, and we had matching outfits for them already so decided to do it. Brooklyn wouldn't let us take a picture of the two of them together, which is one of the reasons we went there. Finally after several bribes we got her to sit for ONE picture by herself. We'll try again some other time.....:) These did turn out cute though!!

Take me out to the ballgame...

Last night we went to a Bees game and also stayed for fireworks afterwards. Brooklyn stayed awake for most of the fireworks, but was tired and ended up falling asleep. She loved the Bees mascot (Bumble), and liked dancing to the music. It was hot, but we had fun! Andy picked some great seats! Thanks to Andy's family for going with us too, we had a great time!!! :)

Daddy's taking us to the zoo....

Andy was able to take this week off of work, so we thought it would be fun to take the girls to the zoo yesterday. Brooklyn had a great time. We took her before she turned 1, so she doesn't quite remember that. We bought her some binoculars and she had fun playing with those and looking for the animals. Addison of course won't remember this, but she was a great baby and slept most of the time. It was also Andy's birthday so we celebrated that as well. He gets to drag it out this year and have two more get togethers with family. Brooklyn made him wear his "birthday hat" (it's a toy ball that you take apart and stack, and for some reason she started calling them birthday hats, so cute!) Me and our girlies took him out to dinner, then came home and gave him his presents and donuts. Brooklyn wanted to blow out the candle too, so we did it again for her! It was a fun day! Hope you had a great birthday Andy! We love you!
