It takes two baby....It takes two

We got these taken yesterday. We had not planned on doing pictures yet, but were up by Kiddie Kandids in Jordan Landing, and we had matching outfits for them already so decided to do it. Brooklyn wouldn't let us take a picture of the two of them together, which is one of the reasons we went there. Finally after several bribes we got her to sit for ONE picture by herself. We'll try again some other time.....:) These did turn out cute though!!

Take me out to the ballgame...

Last night we went to a Bees game and also stayed for fireworks afterwards. Brooklyn stayed awake for most of the fireworks, but was tired and ended up falling asleep. She loved the Bees mascot (Bumble), and liked dancing to the music. It was hot, but we had fun! Andy picked some great seats! Thanks to Andy's family for going with us too, we had a great time!!! :)

Daddy's taking us to the zoo....

Andy was able to take this week off of work, so we thought it would be fun to take the girls to the zoo yesterday. Brooklyn had a great time. We took her before she turned 1, so she doesn't quite remember that. We bought her some binoculars and she had fun playing with those and looking for the animals. Addison of course won't remember this, but she was a great baby and slept most of the time. It was also Andy's birthday so we celebrated that as well. He gets to drag it out this year and have two more get togethers with family. Brooklyn made him wear his "birthday hat" (it's a toy ball that you take apart and stack, and for some reason she started calling them birthday hats, so cute!) Me and our girlies took him out to dinner, then came home and gave him his presents and donuts. Brooklyn wanted to blow out the candle too, so we did it again for her! It was a fun day! Hope you had a great birthday Andy! We love you!

Addison's First Week!!!

We are so glad to have Addison here!!! She has been a great baby so far. She has a ton of dark hair and is such a cuddle bug! Brooklyn loves her and finally got her name down! For a few days it was "that baby" or "that guy" (which was quite funny). Brooklyn loves to help with diaper changes and loves holding and feeding her.
Addison is now a week old, and just wanted to share some pictures of her first week!

I am now a big sister to Addison Grace Gerritsen!




My cute little sister was born July 3, 2008 at 8:08 am. She was 6 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 inches long.
Everything went well and mommy is doing great. More pictures to come.

My dancing machine...

Brookie just got a new dancing dress from Grandma Gerritsen. WOW...she loves it. She had lots of fun dancing with LoLo yesterday. She also wanted to keep it on for bed last night. We did manage to get her into PJ's, but she insisted on wearing it today too! We snapped a few shots of her outside playing today in it. Thanks Grandma! :) We got a happy camper!

Here is the newest addition to the family! Braxton Taylor Jensen. He weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces, 20 inches. He is a cute baby, and are excited to have him join our family!

Here is a video of Brooklyn singing her ABC's....she learned this in less than a week. It takes her a minute to get going, but she will do it. Not bad for just learning it!
