She's toothless....

Brooklyn FINALLY lost her first tooth. I am surprised though that the top ones didn't fall out first. Both of her top teeth have been loose since she was 3. She bonked them on something, never really do know what happened. The roots are dead on those and everytime she has gone to the dentist he was sure they would be the first to come out. The bottom teeth are just as wiggly as the top, and she lost one of her bottom teeth last night. We had been teasing her for a while about pulling it out and she decided to try the old idea of biting into an apple. We were doing different things around the house last night, and found Brooklyn in her brother's room holding her apple in one hand and her tooth in another. She was excited to put her tooth right under her pillow, and see if the tooth fairy would visit. To her surprise she woke up and found a surprise under her pillow. She loves to put her tongue in between her teeth, and I think is now excited to lose those other loose ones! Another milestone down, she's growing right up!

Independence Day!

This is one holiday that I just LOVE celebrating for many reasons. I love tradition, and being with family. We had our yummy breakfast at my Dad's house and then went to a movie. Later that evening we went over to Andy's parents home, then went back to our house and watched the Magna fireworks. With all the fires in Utah and how dry it is, I was nervous about the fireworks. To be honest, we do have people around us that worried me a bit, but everything turned out fine. I was glad Magna was still able to put on their show, we all enjoyed them.

Happy 4th!!!

Our new salon

We recently made the girls room into a salon. Ha ha! Addison and Brooklyn are accepting new clients. As you can see they do great work, and are resonably priced!

Addison turns 4!

For Addie's birthday this year we split it up since Andy had to work. Me and Lori took the kids to Jump N Bounce on her birthday. They had alot of fun with Parker and Brayden too. After we took them to lunch and then they played in the water. Heidi bought one of her favorite foods for dinner, and we also got ice cream. She had a great day. The following Saturday we had all of  our family over for her Strawberry shortcake party. It was so hot out, but we had alot of fun! We had a pinata for the kids, and pizza for lunch. (Addie's other favorite). I enjoyed planning another party, it had been awhile. Happy Birthday to my favorite Addie bear! We love you!

Just because....

Had to post this....Love this! He is his Daddy's boy for sure! That's all!

Mason's Blessing day

We blessed Mason on July 1st. It is an amazing feeling to have both families together for such a great occasion. He was blessed by his daddy, and had both grandpa's and uncles be apart of his circle. We invited family over to our home for a luncheon and had a great time. I can't say it enough...I am so thankful to have such a sweet little boy in our family! Definetely a keeper! :)

No school for the summer

Brooklyn is done with Kindergarten. (sigh)....I think she has been ready to move on to 1st grade for a few months now. I cannot believe how big she is getting, and it has been fun to see her learn and grow this last year. I was able to go in and help her class once a week, and loved it! She made some new friends, and can't wait for her to be able to continue doing that! Great job Brookie!!!

Addison loved preschool and can't wait to go again next year. She will get to go 2 times a week, and I am so proud of her too! She has learned alot, and is a lil smarty pants!!! Way to go sis!
LOVE you girlies!!!!!

Introducing...Mr. Mason

We just love our 'lil man, Mason Andrew Gerritsen born May 16th. He was 7 pounds 2 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. He has been such a sweet boy and are so excited to finally have him here! The girls just love him, and are the greatest helpers. We had quite the hospital experience this time around, I ended up with 2 surgeries the same day due to complications with my bladder. I'll spare the details this time around, but I am certainly blessed and thankful for great doctors and nurses and the power of the priesthood! I am so grateful for Andy, he was by my side the whole time- he is an amazing husband and dad, and for our family who helped out so much too!

Here's to hopefully keeping up on the blog now that things are starting to settle in more. I will be back part-time (HURRAY!!!) and getting used to having our new little dude. For now, here's some pictures.

Shelby's photo project

My cute niece Shelby is taking a photo class for school and was working on a project. She asked if she could take a few pictures of me being preggo with my girls. Here are a few she took!
