Practice makes perfect.....

Brooklyn gave her first talk in Primary this past Sunday! She did such a SUPER job! She practiced over and over and even had some of it memorized. Sunday came and she waited so patiently for her turn, when she got up to the podium she stood on the tallest stool. Her in all her tinyness was barely seeing over the microphone. It was so cute! She grabbed ahold tightly to the microphone and gave her talk about Prophets. We taped it at home so we could share it with our family and friends!!! I think she "aced" this one! Great job Brooklyn! :)

They grow up too fast....

has been running through my mind these last couple of weeks. I know they grow up fast, but seriously, this fast.....? Addison is now 19 months, and has entered into the "terrible 2's" phase a bit early. She's our fiesty baby, and we knew it was coming. On the other hand, she is super smart. She is starting to talk and we can understand for the most part what she is trying to say. If you tell her to go do or get something she will do it. She loves to play, and sing and dance like her sister. She is not a baby anymore.....she really is growing up fast.

Brooklyn is 4, and the best big sister. She loves to play with Addison. She is very smart and loves preschool. She loves to play games, and do her "homework" (this is what she calls it when she draws and colors). She loves primary, and is so excited that she gets to sit on the big chairs now. She loves talking about how she used to be a sunbeam and now is a CTR. She also loves to sing & dance...and may I add...they are DARLING dancers. She is a great example to Addison, and I know Addison looks up to her even at this age. Brooklyn says the funniest things....almost everyday we are saying.."Did she really just say that?" She really is growing up fast.....

So now that I have come to the conclusion that they won't stop growing.....I am excited to see what else is in store for us....they amaze me...they keep me on my toes and through the fits and tears I LOVE them to pieces!!!!!

"Do- a deer, a female deer....."

Once again we had a visit from our deer friends!!! They even let a little farewell gift on our patio out back! We were watching my nieces when the deer came...it was fun to see how excited everyone was.....yes...that includes me. It was pretty cool!

Happy Halloween, Boo!

Brooklyn LOVED Halloween this year! She is finally at that age where she understands what fun these holidays are!

Favorites this year for Brooklyn:

*LOVED her preschool Halloween parade

*Made sugar cookies with family and had pizza

*went to TWO trunk or treats and went around the neighborhood

*being a princess for 2 days in a row and wearing makeup

*of course the CANDY

*visiting with family!

Addison had fun too, even though she doesn't understand why people are giving her candy and dressing funny! Hope you all had as much fun as we did! :)

Happy Halloween

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

These pictures were taken the same day. I see a copy cat!

One last Hurrah for Summer! Now bring on FALL!!!!

This is one of my favorite times of the year. There is something about the chill in the air, pumpkin season, fall leaves and homeade soup that I love. Oh, besides being the start of all the holiday hoop-la, bring it on!

An apple a day....

well it kept the Dr. away, but not a little bad luck... :) (inside joke there).

Anyway, my little family and Lori went down to my Dad and Polly's to help pick apples on their two trees in the backyard! It really was very fun! Brooklyn is now a "Pro Apple Picker"!
Addison was a big helper too, she would put the apples that were on the ground in the buckets. She loved carrying them around and following her sister.
Dad and Polly, we had a fun fun time! Love you!
