We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo..... and birthday too!

Here's some picture at the Hogle Zoo this year. Andy was so kind to take us on his birthday, he is such a super daddy! We rode the train and the caroussel this year, the girls had a blast!

Day's of '47 float preview

We took the girls to see the floats again this year for the Days of '47 at the South Town Expo. It was fun to see them up close, alot of work went into those floats. The detail on some were so amazing, it was hard to vote for our favorite! We stood in the forever long line to get the girls their balloons, and they had a few fun activities for them to do.

Of  course, Daddy's favorite! I made him take this picture, he was a little
embarrased because I had to keep taking the picture!

4th of July

Another fantastic fun-filled 4th we had this year! We always look forward to my Dad's breakfast at his house. We ate until we were all stuffed to the brim (well at least I did). After we went to see Cars 2....oh and the new Transformer's for some! My girls have been waiting to go see Cars 2, and we LOVED it! Our bellies were so full from breakfast that we didn't even have to worry about lunch! Brooklyn thought it was SO cool that she skipped lunch and could eat popcorn and treats at the movie! Then we went over to Andy's cousin's house for a family dinner. It was fun to see them, it's been a long time since we have all gotten together, or a party that we could be there for! We came home and Andy got his campfire pit out, and we roasted marshmellows and made smores. We lit some of our own fireworks & the kids did some pop-its and sparklers. We topped the night off by watching the Magna Fireworks from our very own house! Can't get a better seat than that! Oh and not having to drive home afterwards! It is fun keeping all of our older traditions and starting new ones! I ran out of room on my camera, but I got some fun pictures of the morning and the evening! Hope you all had a great 4th!

Addison is finally "3"!

This little cutie has been patiently waiting to be 3! She said that when she turns 3, she gets to go to preschool and get a teacher, go potty like a big girl and not wear pullups. Seriously, since she has been 3 she has been one easy girl to potty train. Addison really DID want to be 3 to go potty like a big girl! My little Addie is such a sweetheart, and I really did love planning this party for her, whether she wanted it or not! ha ha! When I asked her about it she said "yes", but I felt so silly- thinking to myself, "is that what she really wanted". Well it turned out to be SO much fun, and I believe everyone enjoyed it! I had the party the day before her birthday since her birthday was on Sunday this year. We chose a carnival theme for her party. We had so much fun with it! We had "carnival" foods, games, and prizes for the kids. We had tickets that everyone got for food, and could enter those into a drawing for a prize. The kids also got tickets to play their games. She got alot of fun gifts from family and friends. I just love my big girl, and hopes she had a fantastic day! :)
