Brooklyn & Addison had so much fun decorating the tree this year. Of course we had to do a little re-arranging so that not ALL of the ornaments were at the bottom!
Each year it's tradition for the girls to get a new ornament for the tree. Brooklyn picked a heart ornament with Belle on it, and Addison picked one that was from Charlie Brown Christmas. We also put up our village this year since Addison was older now. So far she's been really good with it! Our house is completly Christmas-fied!!! :)

Girls just wanna have fun...
My girls have been wanting to play in the snow for SO long now. Over Thanksgiving our whole house got the flu bug so we kept ourselves indoors for those few weeks. They kept themselves busy by pretending they were outside.... Now we just need another snow storm to bring us back some snow in our yard!

Sweet Dreams....
We were just about to go get Brooklyn from preschool and I found Addison like this.....
I guess she was tired! :)

Indian Day
At Brooklyn's preschool they have some fun ways to celebrate the holidays. Her teachers usually dress them up for the different holidays and take pictures to give to us! This is Brooklyn coming home from her Indian day, she also got a bow and arrow. The following week they were having their Thanksgiving party, so they also dressed them up as Pilgrim's and had pictures taken. Pretty fun! I know Brooklyn loves it!

Halloween 2010
Halloween was SO much fun this year! Saturday we had our Evans Halloween party & also our Ward Trunk or Treat. For our party we had some games for the kids and some yummy food to eat. We had quite the turnout for costumes this year, myself included...which actually made it really fun. After our family party we went over to the church for our Trunk or Treat/Fashion show. The Primary kids walked down a little runway and showed off their costumes, then they did their trick or treating inside since it was raining. It was quick & easy!
After we stopped by Grandpa & Grandma G's house to visit and went home for the night. Sunday we had a spooky dinner at Grandpa & Grandma G's house to end our fun weekend! Decorations are already down, and ready for the next holiday! I love this time of year!!!
Halloween contest
I entered Brooklyn into a halloween contest over at Hairstyles for Girls on Facebook. You must "like" their page, and then the child who gets the most "likes" on their picture will win. I believe she is doing 3 winners. So, PLEASE go over HERE, and vote for my cute little sleeping Snow White!!! (This was last years costume, Addison wore it this year!)
THANKS!
THANKS!

Preschool Halloween parade
Last Thursday, we went to Brooklyn's Halloween parade at preschool. Teacher had each child walk out and show off their costumes & since Brooklyn was Cinderella she got to say "I lost my glass slipper", they sang a few Halloween songs for us, then they all paraded around to the "Monster Mash". After they served donuts & gave all the kids a big bucket full of goodies. They always do such a great job with these kids!

Painting pumpkins & Halloween surprises...
We've been planning for our traditional Halloween party, and with our outings to Michaels I got the girls their own pumpkins to paint. Brooklyn said. "Mom, this is the first time I have ever painted"....(other than bedroom walls). How sad is that? Well we can check that off the list, now they have and did a VERY good job! They are both so like me....don't like mess. Every time either one made a mess they wanted to clean it up right then. After they dried we hung them up on one of our walls, and they look so cute!!!
Aunt Desa also surprised the girls with a Halloween sack full of some fun Halloween things. THANKS AUNT DESA!!!

Which witch is which......
Saturday we had a girls night out and went to see the Witches at Gardner Village. I think everyone else had that same exact idea....it was CRAZY busy! Brooklyn loved holding Addie's monkey backpack or "leash" so we wouldn't lose her in the crowds. Grandma Polly bought us yummy M&M cookies, and visited a few stores including our favorite candy store.
